GFTC was founded in 2007 and holds SWIFT Service-Bureau official status. In 2014, the company successfully completed SWIFT Certification Procedures and obtained SWIFT International Quality Certificate, which emphasizes the quality and stability of the products provided by GFTC.

Nowadays, GFTC holds advanced positions in Georgian banking innovative technology sector. Products provided by GFTC Service-Bureau have gained authority in the local market; thus, majority number of banks operating in Georgia tends to select the Service-Bureau products. Primary priority of the company is to promote financial sector development. In order to achieve this target, GFTC closely cooperates with other financial organizations. After the successful coverage of the local market and introducing latest international standards, GFTC has managed to penetrate on foreign market as well.

In order to match market demands and reach new segment, GBTC, the daughter company of GFTC, was founded in 2013. From the same period the Service – Bureau has launched TransGuard compliance system for its customers. The mentioned system enables transactions filtering, monitoring and reporting; assessment of clients’ riskiness and provides customers SWIFT database of financial institutions. The TransGuard system is flexible and secure, based on automation and risk minimization. Consequently, GBTC system popularity and the number of customers is growing gradually.

In 2016, on the event which was held by “National Business Rating Union”, LLC “GFTC” had been recognized as an entrepreneurial domain leader and acquired gold medal, which indicates second position. Business rating – according to “financial-entrepreneurial activities between Georgian enterprises”, which was guided by the group of judges, was conducted according to competitiveness and investment attractiveness of an enterprise. A group of independent experts took part in its creation.
